DALLAS, TX – Ameriflight, the nation’s largest Part 135 Cargo airline, expands operation by launching a new base in El Paso, Texas. Opened September 14, 2020, the new facility at El Paso International Airport (ELP) is the freight forwarder’s 15th base.
Ameriflight is dedicated to the continued development of its network. ELP is the cargo gateway into the United States from Mexico and home to the largest cargo facility on the Mexico–United States border. With significant demand out of ELP this year, Ameriflight opened the base to better service the requests from customers, as well as capitalize on growing demand throughout the network.
“Today’s announcement underscores Ameriflight’s commitment to expand and differentiate our network. It’s a unique time in the industry and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to make this calculated decision and grow the Ameriflight network and capabilities with this base,” said Ameriflight Chief Executive Officer Paul Chase. “We are continuing to pursue opportunities to expand our operation and we look forward to the added business in El Paso.”
