Meet Michael McCarthy, Air Charter Specialist 👋

“I’ve been working in the aviation industry since 2012. I earned my degree in Aviation Safety from Utah State University, where I developed a strong foundation in safety management, risk mitigation, and operational compliance. That education has shaped the way I approach every aspect of aviation operations—with safety and precision always at the forefront.

My aviation journey began in the United States Air Force, where I worked on high‑tempo flight line operations as a Weapons Expeditor. In that role, I supported complex operational activities in fast‑paced and demanding environments, which taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Before joining Ameriflight, I also worked with Classic Air Medical and Utah State University, gaining valuable experience across different areas of aviation operations and safety‑critical environments.

I officially joined the Ameriflight team in December 2025, and I’m excited to continue building my career alongside such a dedicated group of aviation professionals.

Today, I serve as an Air Charter Specialist at Ameriflight. In this role, I help ensure seamless and reliable air cargo operations while supporting safe and efficient flight operations. I take pride in going above and beyond to support our customers and operational teams, and I’m grateful to be part of a company that values safety and operational excellence as much as I do.“
